Fursona Shooting

We are finally beginning principle photography on Fursona this upcoming weekend, which is pretty exciting news. We will be shooting a few short scenes before winter break, and when we come back we will be shooting every weekend for roughly 8 weeks or so. Then post-production takes over, and i’m free to start my own projects finally! We’ll probably be needing some PA’s from time to time, so if anyone out there reading this (if anyone at all) is a film student at Keene State looking to work on a 3/4 film, let me know!

And so this week is finals week, so i’ll leave you with this inciteful piece from one of my favorite comic strips, Calvin and Hobbes:

For those of you Paul Thomas Anderson fans…

Here’s his first short film, The Dirk Diggler Story

Busy Busy Busy!

I haven’t made a blog post in a lonnnng time, and for reason that not many people have been visiting my site since nothing has been going on since last semester. But a new school year has begun (and the last at Keene State) and i’m full up on projects right now so I figure i’ll give an update for anyone who stumbles upon this blog by visiting my site.

  • I’m currently on the Production 3/4 crew as Director Of Photography on the yet to be titled “Untitled Furry Project”. It’s a romantic comedy about a girl who falls in love with a man who wears an animal costume 24/7. Yes, it sounds a bit odd, but the story is sounding great as of now, but a few adjustments need to be made to make the story flow better.
  • I am also working as assistant editor on the college’s 100 year anniversary Centennial film. We haven’t done much yet, but there will be hours upon hours of footage to upload soon, so i’ll be crazy busy with that.
  • As far as Bleeding Heart Pictures is concerned, i’d like to find time to work on writing and shooting some segments of the Banana Movie since it kinda got scrapped over the summer to take time off and not think of film projects.
  • Over the summer I worked as DP on a documentary about Pet Cemetaries in New England. The hopes is to get it aired on PBS or some other channel, but as of now we only have the footage. Nothing is edited as of yet, but from the looks of the footage I feel its gonna come along pretty well.

And thats about all that I can think of right now. i’ll make updates as things progress!

Dark Knight/Batman TV Show mashup

I thought this was great, but the again i’m a Batman nerd…

‘Hancock’ movie trailer

So I was checking up on all the recent movie news and stumbled upon the trailer for the next Will Smith movie. Now, i’m not a huge Will Smith fan or anything, but I do usually end up seeing the movies he’s in because they are always pretty entertaining, and come on, who doesn’t enjoy a Will Smith movie every now and then? But this trailer just looks ridiculous.

Plot Synopsis:

Will Smith flys around saving the day as a slacker superhero.

No Lie.
